Job Description:

We are currently seeking Senior Tunnel Engineer / Tunnel Engineers (ie qualified Civil Engineer / Geotechnical Engineers with appropriate experience) to be based in our Mangalore Cavern Project office. We have an impressive portfolio of prestigious infrastructure; tunneling and underground works projects

Requirements
Candidates should possess the following:

• A proven track record in the construction of tunnels and underground structures and other related infrastructure.
• A clear appreciation of soil-structure interaction problems.
• Good understanding, through experience, of tunnel construction and working methods.
• A high level of technical capability and attention to detail.
• An appropriate level of experience in the civil / geotechnical fields in a construction environment.
• Experience of working in a fast moving engineering construction environment.
• A good academic background with a civil engineering / geotechnical engineering bachelors or masters degree.
• A high level of numeracy and attention to details with the ability to self check and produce accurate work.
• Good written and verbal communication skills (clear, concise report writing will be required).

The Individual

• Ability to adapt to different cultures and working environments to build rapport with Clients
• Willingness to collaborate and work effectively within a team environment
• Experience and confidence in using written and spoken English within a business environment
• Willingness to travel from time to time on project assignments

Responsibilities

You will be required to work on, and/or lead, the tunnel engineering and civil / geotechnical aspects of underground works projects alongside a variety of Nig & Rich Infratech professionals. This work will be undertaken under the supervision of some of the top professionals from Korea.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Construction leadership in tunnel engineering projects
• Ensure that Quality is an integral part of production.
• Co-operate with other Nig & Rich Infratech staff in order to add maximum value

We are currently seeking Site Engineer with minimum of 5 years Experience (i.e. Graduate Civil Engineers with appropriate experience) to be based in our New Mangalore Port Trust Site Office. We have an impressive portfolio in the Construction of Mechanized Coal/Iron Ore Handling Conveyor system.

Requirements:
Candidates should possess the following:

• A proven track record in the construction of pile foundations, diaphragm walls and other related works with regard to jetty construction.
• A clear appreciation of piling and related ports and harbor construction works.
• Good understanding, through experience, of jetty construction and working methods.
• A high level of technical capability and attention to detail.
• Experience of working in a fast moving engineering construction environment.
• A good academic background with a civil engineering degree.
• A high level of numeracy and attention to details with the ability to self check and produce accurate work.
• Good written and verbal communication skills (clear, concise report writing will be required).
